Happy ever afters are for stories that’ve not ended yet.

I’m at the library now! These couple of days have been pretty eventful. Actually, as much as I complain that my life is -______- it has always been eventful! Mummy is back from her 1 and a half days staff retreat to Bintan. I actually survived on my own for 1 and a half days! I can’t imagine life without a mother, like mine. Ok, I’m a walking contradiction.

I had time to catch up with my ex-colleagues from Raoul RC. We had a Hari Raya gathering over at Siti’s on Saturday. It was pleasurable of course! And yesterday we went Deepa Deepa at Yogi’s place. Had Daily Scoop ice cream. I LOVE IT! I was saying that I always find myself going out of my way to find ice cream. My adventure trips around our little island usually involve me getting lost 99% of the time.

And today! I woke up at 6AM bathed all and bought Mac Breakfast for my Beloved Monster (thats one alphabet short of BM-W!!!) And you’ve got to admit room service was quite good! And there was even a chaperone to school!

I just found out that my nephew is studying in my Secondary School. I bumped into Aunty Sereena, Sara, Ashton and Byron yesterday. Ashton looks like me. Byron said this “I know him aunty! He’s my senior, from school. How is he related to you?!”

He’s Uncle Kassim’s son, your uncle.

That increases the number of Pan-Asians in Dunearn Secondary School to 2! I’m going to get someone to keep an eye on him. Bully him and you die. Hey, I am his uncle after all.

AND LATER, I can’t believe I’m going to watch High School Musical with a bunch of 17 year old kids!! oh, and there’s gymnastics in the evening.

PS, there’s nothing extraordinary about the words that flutter from our minds. But I love it all the same.
